The Port

Same port. New owner.

H2O Boat Tow LLC bought the TowBoatUS Sabine Lake port in September 2026 and operates it now, with licensed captains and purpose-built towboats on the water for Sabine Lake and Southeast Texas.

The company

H2O Boat Tow LLC.

The same company operates the TowBoatUS ports on Possum Kingdom Lake, Lake Fork, Sam Rayburn and Toledo Bend, and serves Lake Ray Hubbard and Lake Lavon northeast of Dallas as a TowBoatUS operator.

Its service area is the entire eastern side of Texas from the Gulf coast to Arkansas, and its crews travel to any lake in that area — reaching about 120 miles by road from any of its ports, so coverage extends well beyond the water each port sits on.

The network behind the boat

TowBoatUS has 650+ boats in 325+ ports.

A member is never far from help, and a BoatUS membership works nationwide — the same towing coverage applies anywhere you boat in the U.S. BoatUS runs 24/7 dispatch on 800-391-4869, and boaters can also raise help on VHF Channel 16.

Questions boaters ask

If it has already gone wrong, start here.

Is there a TowBoatUS on Sabine Lake?

Yes. TowBoatUS Sabine Lake is the towing port here, and it answers at (844) 262-8869. H2O Boat Tow LLC bought the port in September 2026 and operates it now. You do not have to hold a membership to call.

My boat broke down on the water. What happens when I call?

Breakdown assistance covers engine, transmission, drive and electrical failures: what can be fixed out on the water is fixed there, and what cannot is towed in. A boat under tow goes to the owner’s choice of destination — your trailer, your slip, or any marina, ramp or repair yard, including dock-to-dock tows to a repair facility.

I ran out of gas. Can you bring me fuel?

Yes. Fuel is brought out to the boat on the water, at any hour. Fuel delivery is one of the member-covered services, and on a fuel delivery a member pays only for the fuel itself.

Dead battery, out on the lake. Who jumps a boat?

We do, on (844) 262-8869. If the jump start does not hold, the boat is towed to a repair facility on the same call.

I’m stuck on the bottom. Is that a tow or is that salvage?

A soft ungrounding is a boat that is upright, undamaged, surrounded by water and freeable in about fifteen minutes with one boat and one line — that is towing work, and it is covered for members. Anything else is salvage, and the captain says which it is before a line goes on.

My boat sank. Who does recovery?

We do. Salvage and recovery work uses divers, salvage pumps, lift bags and high-capacity dewatering pumps, with fuel-spill containment, photo documentation and condition reports for insurance files. Salvage is not covered by any towing membership and is normally paid by the boat owner’s insurance; we work directly with carriers and adjusters on authorization, scope and billing.

Something is wrapped around my prop, or I dropped something overboard.

Dive services cover prop and line clearing, underwater inspection, and recovery of lost items.

I’m an adjuster with an assigned file.

We accept insurance-assigned salvage on fixed-price or time-and-materials scopes, can bill most carriers directly, and provide certificates of insurance and references on request. Reach us at mike@h2oboattow.com or (844) 262-8869.
